Education Day

Proteomics research began its journey in India with investigation of proteome profiling, complexity analysis, protein trafficking, and biochemical modelling. Since then, proteomics studies have expanded progressively, and are now being carried out in various universities and research institutes spread across the country. It is now timely to add proteomics in the academic curriculum. Trained and qualified human resources and transferring know-how in proteomics and mass spectrometry are increasing rapidly.

PSI commits to its responsibility to inspire the future proteomers, promote proteomic education to the young students, researchers, and college & university teachers. Thus, "Education Day", a knowledge initiative, is an integral part of the PSI Annual Meeting. It aims to comprehensively disseminate and teach basic and advanced proteomics and allied research tools.

This year, we will celebrate "Education Day" on 20th October 2021. Many experts will meet our audience in virtual classrooms. Students, postdoctoral fellows, researchers, college and university teachers and those seeking to incorporate proteomics into research or academic programs are encouraged to join the platform.
